Video premiere of symphonic work by Evan

Posted on December 10, 2021December 10, 2021 By Alan

As some of you may already know that, in addition to being a gifted bassist and multi-instrumentalist, Evan Hause (Advent’s bass player) is also an extremely accomplished composer. We very much hope you’ll enjoy this video recording from a recent premiere of one of his major symphonic works.

Advent’s long lost Procol Harum tribute track

Posted on February 11, 2021February 11, 2021 By Alan

Back in the late 1990s, Advent was invited to participate in a two-CD Procol Harum tribute called The Best of the Whalers. Now that the release is over 20 years old and has become quite a rarity, we thought it might be nice to share our version of “Robert’s Box” as featured on the album. We hope you enjoy it.

Advent welcomes new bassist, Evan Hause!

Posted on March 17, 2020March 17, 2020 By Alan

It is a great pleasure to announce that Evan Hause has joined Advent. A very accomplished multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, and versatile composer in his own right, Evan will fill the group’s bass chair (likely singing and eventually playing other instruments in the band as well). With his extensive and deeply compatible musical background, we’re confident that Evan will bring Advent’s new full-band lineup to a whole new level. Please join us in welcoming him aboard and stay tuned for great things!
