Advent would like to extend a most sincere and enthusiastic thank-you to everyone who purchased our limited-time pre-sale Silent Sentinel CD bundle! Between the strong showing of support and all the wonderfully kind feedback already received, you have really touched our hearts.

The general release of Silent Sentinel will take place on Tuesday, August 11th. Between now and then, we will be accepting orders for the CD on our store page, however please note that corresponding shipments will take place on the official release date. At that point, the album will be generally available from a number of different vendors as well.

Advent is very pleased to announce the upcoming release of our new album, Silent Sentinel. The official street date is scheduled for August 11th, however the band will be offering a special pre-sale bundle for purchase beginning on July 15th. This limited-time offer will include:

1. A copy of the 77.5-minute Silent Sentinel CD
2. 24-bit/96-kHz audiophile files of the entire album (sent electronically)
3. A five-track bonus CD-R with exclusive remix content from the album and two other full-length tracks
4. Early shipment of physical media* and 24/96 audio file delivery

*For those optionally requesting autographed copies of the CD (instructions on order form), shipment of physical media will likely be postponed a little to allow for personalized signatures–however 24/96 audiophiles will be delivered without corresponding delay.

Advent’s new album is now fully mixed and has been sent off to Bob Katz for mastering. It will be called Silent Sentinel and, at this point, we’re probably looking at a street date in early August. Please stay tuned for a special pre-sale offer that should be announced shortly as well. After some unexpected delays, the band is very happy to report that 11 of the new album’s 14 tracks are now fully mixed. It’s also a great pleasure to announce that the new album will, once again, feature cover art by the very talented Michael Phipps. Additionally, the group has already reengaged Bob Katz to provide his state-of-the-art mastering services for the 77-minute release. If all goes as planned, the new CD is expected to be out in July.
